We are pleased to announce that the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO), one of Canada’s finest cultural institutions founded in 1922, has sponsored LFTF to help raise awareness about thyroid cancer.

Today, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra serves the community with one of the largest educational programmes in Canada, connecting students throughout Ontario with curriculum-based outreach. Their Youth & Education programs are designed to supplement and enhance a young person’s music education. It is therefore no surprise that the TSO was quick to come aboard with our mission to educate the public on the rise of thyroid cancer in Canada.

More than 250,000 audience members attend their concerts at the Roy Thompson Hall, and an additional five million Canadians tune in to concert broadcasts on CBC Radio every year. The TSO has developed an international presence while touring and competing world wide. It is also a non-profit organization that has been funded by the public sector since its inception.
